Senator Jones moved the following:
1 Senate Amendment to House Amendment (107453) (with title
2 amendment)

4 Between lines 345 and 346
5 insert:
6 Section 9. Subsection (5) is added to section 98.0751,
7 Florida Statutes, to read:
8 98.0751 Restoration of voting rights; termination of
9 ineligibility subsequent to a felony conviction.—
10 (5) An entity that issues a notification under s.
11 944.705(7)(a), s. 947.24(3), s. 948.041, or s. 951.29, or the
12 sentencing court if none of those sections apply, must notify
13 the appropriate supervisor of elections of the person who has
14 been disqualified from voting based on a felony conviction for
15 an offense other than murder or a felony sexual offense. Upon
16 receipt of such information, the supervisor must provide a
17 notification to any such person stating that he or she is
18 eligible for voting rights restoration upon payment of any
19 outstanding fines or fees so long as he or she has completed all
20 other terms of sentence and meets any other requirements under
21 s. 4, Art. VI of the State Constitution and this code.
