The Committee on Children, Families, and Elder Affairs (Wright)
recommended the following:
1 Senate Amendment (with title amendment)

3 Delete lines 66 - 76
4 and insert:
5 3.a. The court may not grant a parent time-sharing with his
6 or her minor child if the parent has been convicted of or had
7 adjudication withheld for an offense enumerated in s.
8 943.0435(1)(h)1.a. and at the time of the offense:
9 (I) The parent was 18 years of age or older; and
10 (II) The victim was under 18 years of age or the parent
11 believed the victim to be under 18 years of age.
12 b. Notwithstanding sub-subparagraph a., the court may grant
13 time-sharing to the parent if the court makes a specific finding
14 in writing that the he or she poses no significant risk

16 And the title is amended as follows:
17 Delete lines 2 - 6
18 and insert:
19 An act relating to a minor time-sharing for a parent
20 convicted of or had adjudication withheld for a
21 specified offense; amending s. 61.13, F.S.;
22 prohibiting a court from granting time-sharing with a
23 minor child to a parent
