       Senator Hutson moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Between lines 472 and 473
    4  insert:
    5         Section 8. Subsection (6) is added to section 550.0651,
    6  Florida Statutes, to read:
    7         550.0651 Elections for ratification of permits; municipal
    8  prohibitions.—
    9         (6) Notwithstanding any other provision of law, a
   10  municipality may prohibit the establishment of a pari-mutuel
   11  facility on or after July 1, 2021, in its jurisdiction. This
   12  subsection does not apply to a permitholder who held an
   13  operating license for the conduct of pari-mutuel wagering for
   14  fiscal year 2020-2021 in the municipality’s jurisdiction or to a
   15  pari-mutuel facility that was previously approved by the
   16  municipality.
