       Senator Diaz moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete line 1573
    4  and insert:
    5         Section 16. Effective upon becoming a law, the Department
    6  of Education may initiate new assessment systems and close out
    7  old assessment systems and shall amend contracts in order to
    8  implement this act.
    9         Section 17. Except as otherwise expressly provided in this
   10  act, and except for this section which shall take effect upon
   11  this act becoming a law, this act shall take effect July 1,
   12  2022.

   16         Delete line 80
   17  and insert:
   18         specified provisions; providing specified
   19         authorizations and requirements for the Department of
   20         Education; providing effective dates.
