       Senator Taddeo moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2  
    3         Between lines 1425 and 1426
    4  insert:
    5         3. For grades 3 through 10 English Language Arts and grades
    6  3 through 8 Mathematics, the coordinated screening and progress
    7  monitoring system must be administered to students who speak
    8  English as a second language in the student’s native language.
    9  Federal resources must be used to the extent possible for such
   10  administration.
