    1                        A bill to be entitled                      
    2         An act relating to postsecondary supplier diversity
    3         expenditure data; creating ss. 1004.281 and 1004.735,
    4         F.S.; requiring each state university and Florida
    5         College System institution to report supplier
    6         diversity expenditure data on their website; requiring
    7         each state university and Florida College System
    8         institution to submit such data to the Office of
    9         Supplier Diversity of the Department of Management
   10         Services; requiring the department to post such data
   11         on its website; providing an effective date.

   13  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
   14  
   15         Section 1. Section 1004.281, Florida Statutes, is created
   16  to read:
   17         1004.281 State university supplier diversity expenditure
   18  data.—Each state university shall report supplier diversity
   19  expenditure data on the state university’s website and annually
   20  submit the data to the Office of Supplier Diversity of the
   21  Department of Management Services. The department shall compile
   22  the expenditure data for all state universities and make such
   23  data available on its website.
   24         Section 2. Section 1004.735, Florida Statutes, is created
   25  to read:
   26         1004.735 Florida College System institution supplier
   27  diversity expenditure data.—Each Florida College System
   28  institution shall report supplier diversity expenditure data on
   29  the institution’s website and annually submit the data to the
   30  Office of Supplier Diversity of the Department of Management
   31  Services. The department shall compile the expenditure data for
   32  all Florida College System institutions and make such data
   33  available on its website.
   34         Section 3. This act shall take effect July 1, 2022.
