recommended the following:

4 insert:
5 Section 1. Subsection (10) of section 916.106, Florida
6 Statutes, is amended to read:
7 916.106 Definitions.—For the purposes of this chapter, the
8 term:
9 (10) “Forensic facility” means a separate and secure
10 facility established within the department or agency to serve
11 forensic clients. A separate and secure facility means a
12 security-grade building for the purpose of separately housing
13 persons who have mental illness from persons who have
14 intellectual disabilities or autism and separately housing
15 persons who have been involuntarily committed pursuant to this
16 chapter from nonforensic residents. The term includes a mental
17 health facility operated by a community mental health provider
18 which may be colocated in a county jail and which is deemed
19 appropriate by the department.
