    2         An act relating to hourly rates at public lodging
    3         establishments and vacation rentals; creating s.
    4         509.098, F.S.; prohibiting an operator of a public
    5         lodging establishment or a vacation rental from
    6         offering an hourly rate for an accommodation;
    7         providing an effective date.

    9  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
   10  
   11         Section 1. Section 509.098, Florida Statutes, is created to
   12  read:
   13         509.098 Prohibition of hourly rates.—An operator of a
   14  public lodging establishment or a vacation rental may not offer
   15  an hourly rate for an accommodation.
   16         Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2022.
