       The Conference Committee on SB 2530 recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Conference Committee Amendment (with title
    2  amendment)
    3  
    4         Delete everything after the enacting clause
    5  and insert:
    6         Section 1. Paragraph (a) of subsection (5) of section
    7  319.32, Florida Statutes, is amended to read:
    8         319.32 Fees; service charges; disposition.—
    9         (5)(a) Forty-seven dollars of each fee collected, except
   10  for fees charged on a certificate of title for a motor vehicle
   11  for hire registered under s. 320.08(6), for each applicable
   12  original certificate of title and each applicable duplicate copy
   13  of a certificate of title shall be deposited into the State
   14  Transportation Trust Fund. Deposits to the State Transportation
   15  Trust Fund pursuant to this paragraph may not exceed $200
   16  million in any fiscal year, and from any collections in excess
   17  of that amount during the fiscal year, the first $30 million
   18  collected shall be deposited into the Highway Safety Operating
   19  Trust Fund, and any remaining collections shall be paid into the
   20  General Revenue Fund.
   21         Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2022.

   24  And the title is amended as follows:
   25         Delete everything before the enacting clause
   26  and insert:
   27                        A bill to be entitled                      
   28         An act relating to motor vehicle title fees; amending
   29         s. 319.32, F.S.; requiring that a specified amount of
   30         certain excess motor vehicle title fee collections in
   31         any fiscal year be deposited into the Highway Safety
   32         Operating Trust Fund; providing an effective date.
