    1                        A bill to be entitled                      
    2         An act relating to distilled spirits displays;
    3         creating s. 561.425, F.S.; providing that distributors
    4         of distilled spirits are not prohibited from in-store
    5         servicing of distilled spirits under certain
    6         circumstances; defining the term “in-store servicing”;
    7         providing an effective date.

    9  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
   10  
   11         Section 1. Section 561.425, Florida Statutes, is created to
   12  read:
   13         561.425 Distilled spirits beverages; in-store servicing
   14  authorized.—Nothing in s. 561.42 or any other provision of the
   15  alcoholic beverage law prohibits a distributor of distilled
   16  spirits from providing in-store servicing of distilled spirits
   17  sold by such distributor to a vendor. As used in this section,
   18  the term “in-store servicing” means placing the distilled
   19  spirits on the vendor’s shelves and maintaining the appearance
   20  and display of the distilled spirits on the vendor’s shelves in
   21  the vendor’s licensed premises; placing the distilled spirits in
   22  a storage area designated by the vendor which is located in the
   23  vendor’s licensed premises; rotating distilled spirit beverages;
   24  and price stamping of distilled spirit beverages in the vendor’s
   25  licensed premises.
   26         Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2022.
