       Senator Cruz moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)

    3         Between lines 301 and 302
    4  insert:
    5         Section 7. Subsection (13) is added to section 409.904,
    6  Florida Statutes, to read:
    7         409.904 Optional payments for eligible persons.—The agency
    8  may make payments for medical assistance and related services on
    9  behalf of the following persons who are determined to be
   10  eligible subject to the income, assets, and categorical
   11  eligibility tests set forth in federal and state law. Payment on
   12  behalf of these Medicaid eligible persons is subject to the
   13  availability of moneys and any limitations established by the
   14  General Appropriations Act or chapter 216.
   15         (13)Women who may become pregnant and are eligible as
   16  described in 42 U.S.C. s. 1396a(a)(10)(A)(i)(VIII).

   20         Delete line 40
   21  and insert:
   22         Public Health; amending s. 409.904, F.S.; extending
   23         Medicaid eligibility to certain women who may become
   24         pregnant; providing an appropriation; providing
