Senator Farmer moved the following:

3 Delete lines 117 - 134
4 and insert:
5 (2)(a) Discrimination on the basis of race, ethnicity,
6 national origin, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual identity,
7 disability, religion, or marital status against a student or an
8 employee in the state system of publicly funded public K-20
9 education is prohibited. No person in this state shall, on the
10 basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, sex, gender, gender
11 identity, sexual identity, disability, religion, or marital
12 status, be excluded from participation in, be denied the
13 benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any
14 publicly funded public K-20 education program or activity, or in
15 any employment conditions or practices, conducted by a public
16 educational institution that receives or benefits from federal
17 or state financial assistance.
18 (b) The criteria for admission to a program or course shall
19 not have the effect of restricting access by persons of a
20 particular race, ethnicity, national origin, sex, gender, gender
21 identity, sexual identity, disability, religion, or marital
22 status.
23 (c) All schools that receive public funds and offer public
24 K-20 education classes shall be available to all students
25 without regard to race, ethnicity, national origin, sex, gender,
26 gender identity, sexual identity, disability, religion, or
