       The Committee on Ethics and Elections (Ingoglia) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 19 - 21
    4  and insert:
    5  imposed by this section in any county that has not adopted term
    6  limits as of July 1, 2023.
    7         (2) This section supersedes any term limits imposed by a
    8  county charter; however, this section may not be construed to
    9  extend term limits already applicable to a county commissioner
   10  as of July 1, 2023, under an applicable provision of a county
   11  charter adopted before July 1, 2023.
