       Senator Thompson moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete line 98
    4  and insert:
    5  tenant terminates the agreement. In either situation, the amount
    6  of the security deposit may not exceed the amount of 1 month’s
    7  rent.

   10  And the title is amended as follows:
   11         Delete line 16
   12  and insert:
   13         written notice to the tenant; prohibiting security
   14         deposits from exceeding a specified amount under
   15         certain circumstances; requiring a written
