       Senator Berman moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (730228) (with title
    2  amendment)
    3  
    4         Between lines 355 and 356
    5  insert:
    6         (17) Notwithstanding any other law and the Florida Building
    7  Code, an educational institution may provide for unisex
    8  restrooms on the institution’s premises. An educational
    9  institution providing for a unisex restroom on its premises
   10  pursuant to this subsection is not required to apply to the
   11  Department of Education for a waiver or variance for such
   12  restroom.

   15  And the title is amended as follows:
   16         Delete line 394
   17  and insert:
   18         to establish specified procedures; authorizing
   19         educational institutions to provide unisex restrooms;
   20         specifying educational institutions do not have to
   21         apply to the Department of Education for a waiver or
   22         variance for such restrooms; providing
