       Senator Torres moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (730228) (with title
    2  amendment)

    4         Delete line 346
    5  and insert:
    6         (16) This section does not apply to an individual who has
    7  been issued a valid government document indicating that the sex
    8  of the individual aligns with the designated sex of the restroom
    9  or changing facility being used by the individual. For a student
   10  enrolled in an educational institution, a school record
   11  indicating the student’s sex is considered a valid government
   12  document for purposes of this subsection.
   13         (17) By January 1, 2024, the Department of Corrections, the
