The Committee on Transportation (DiCeglie) recommended the
following:
1 Senate Amendment (with title amendment)

3 Delete lines 115 - 122
4 and insert:
5 3. For a temporary airport, upon receipt of a completed
6 application for site approval and registration, the department
7 must publish a notice of intent to approve or deny the
8 application in the next available publication of the Florida
9 Administrative Register. The notice must inform the recipient of
10 any administrative hearing that is available, indicate the
11 procedure that must be followed to obtain the hearing, and state
12 that a request for hearing must be submitted no later than 14
13 days after the date of publication. The department may not
14 approve or deny an application sooner than 14 days after the
15 date of publication. The department must approve or deny an
16 application no later than 30 days after the date of publication.
17 If site approval is granted, registration of the temporary
18 airport is deemed complete.

23 and insert:

26 during which such application may be approved or
