       The Committee on Judiciary (Grall) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)

    3         Delete lines 289 - 294
    4  and insert:
    5         713.011Computation of time.—
    6         (1)In computing any time period under this part, if the
    7  last day of the time period is a Saturday, Sunday, or holiday
    8  specified in s. 110.117(1), or any day observed as a holiday by
    9  the clerk’s office or designated as a holiday by the chief judge
   10  of the circuit, the time period is extended to the end of the
   11  next business day.
   12         (2)If a clerk’s office is directed to close by a federal,
   13  state, or local governmental order in response to a state of
   14  emergency declared under chapter 252, the time periods for
   15  recording a document or filing an action with such clerk’s
   16  office under this part are tolled until the first business day
   17  after the clerk’s office reopens.
