       The Committee on Appropriations (Perry) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 43 - 54
    4  and insert:
    5  conveyed by it.
    6         1. No later than July 1, 2024, the Board of Governors shall
    7  develop regulations for university boards of trustees relating
    8  to the procedures for contracting for the construction of new
    9  facilities or for the remodeling, renovation, or maintenance of
   10  or additions or repairs to existing facilities. The regulations
   11  must include, but are not limited to, competitive bids, design
   12  build, and selection of a construction management entity.
   13         2. Notwithstanding any other provisions of this subsection,
   14  each board of trustees shall comply with the provisions of s.
   15  287.055 for the procurement of professional services as defined
   16  therein. Any acquisition pursuant to this paragraph is subject
   17  to the provisions of s. 1010.62. This subparagraph is repealed
   18  upon the enactment of the regulations required in subparagraph
   19  1.

   24  insert:
   25         providing for future repeal of a specified provision
   26         upon enactment of such regulations;
