       The Appropriations Committee on Health and Human Services
       (Grall) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete line 84
    4  and insert:
    5  s. 456.0135, Florida Statutes, upon their next licensure renewal
    6  that takes place after January 1, 2025. Beginning January 1,
    7  2025, the Department of Health may not renew the license of a
    8  health care practitioner until he or she complies with the
    9  background screening requirements of s. 456.0135, Florida
   10  Statutes.

   13  And the title is amended as follows:
   14         Delete line 9
   15  and insert:
   16         requirements by their next licensure renewal beginning
   17         after a specified date; prohibiting the Department of
   18         Health, beginning on a specified date, from renewing
   19         the license of a health care practitioner until he or
   20         she complies with the background screening
   21         requirements; amending ss.
