       The Committee on Governmental Oversight and Accountability
       (Perry) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 42 - 70
    4  and insert:
    5  company under chapter 658 is exempt from s. 119.07(1) and s.
    6  24(a), Art. I of the State Constitution until the application is
    7  approved and the charter is issued. As used in this paragraph,
    8  the term “personal identifying information” means names, home
    9  addresses, e-mail addresses, telephone numbers, names of
   10  relatives, work experience, professional licensing and
   11  educational backgrounds, and photographs. An authorized officer
   12  or employee of the office may disclose personal identifying
   13  information in the course of an investigation or examination in
   14  connection with an application for authority to organize a new
   15  state bank or new state trust company under chapter 658.
   16         (c)This subsection is subject to the Open Government
   17  Sunset Review Act in accordance with s. 119.15 and is repealed
   18  October 2, 2029, unless reviewed and saved from repeal through
   19  reenactment by the Legislature.
   20         Section 2. The Legislature finds that it is a public
   21  necessity that certain information received by the Office of
   22  Financial Regulation pursuant to an application for authority to
   23  organize a new state bank or new state trust company under
   24  chapter 658, Florida Statutes, be made exempt from s. 119.07(1),
   25  Florida Statutes, and s. 24(a), Article I of the State
   26  Constitution to the extent that disclosure would reveal personal
   27  financial information; reveal a driver license number, a
   28  passport number, a military identification number, or any other
   29  number or code issued on a government document used to verify
   30  identity; reveal books and records of a current or proposed
   31  financial institution; or reveal a proposed state bank’s or
   32  proposed state trust company’s business plan and any attached
   33  supporting documentation. The Legislature further finds that it
   34  is a public necessity that the personal identifying information
   35  of a proposed officer or proposed director who is currently
   36  employed by, or actively participates in the affairs of, another
   37  financial institution be made

   41  and insert:
