       Senator Pizzo moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Between lines 395 and 396
    4  insert:
    5         (7) A person who contracts with and receives financial
    6  compensation from a community association to negotiate monetary
    7  or performance terms of a contract with a business from which
    8  the person also receives financial compensation, including
    9  contracts for television, video, Internet, telephone, or any
   10  other telecommunications services, which is subject to the
   11  approval of the association, is subject to this section.
   12         (8) A contract or agreement executed in violation of this
   13  section is deemed void and unenforceable.
   14         (9) A violation of this section is deemed a deceptive and
   15  unfair trade practice under part II of chapter 501.

   20  and insert:
   21         the term “relative”; providing that a person who
   22         contracts with and receives financial compensation
   23         from a community association to negotiate services for
   24         certain contracts is subject to the act; providing
   25         that a contract or an agreement executed in violation
   26         of the act is deemed void and unenforceable; providing
   27         that related violations are deemed to be violations of
   28         the Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act;
   29         reenacting and amending s.
