       The Committee on Fiscal Policy (Hooper) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 63 - 87
    4  and insert:
    5  have a license type available for the category of work for which
    6  the applicant was issued a certification of registration or
    7  local license during 2021, 2022, or 2023, such as a notification
    8  on the website of the local jurisdiction or an email or letter
    9  from the office of the local building official or local building
   10  department stating that such license type is not available in
   11  that local jurisdiction.
   12         c. Evidence that the applicant has submitted the required
   13  fee.
   14         d. Evidence of compliance with the insurance and financial
   15  responsibility requirements of s. 489.115(5).

   17  An examination is not required for an applicant seeking a
   18  registration under paragraph (b).
   19         (c) The board is responsible for disciplining licensees
   20  issued a registration under paragraph (b). The board shall make
   21  such licensure and disciplinary information available through
   22  the automated information system provided pursuant to s.
   23  455.2286.
   24         (d) The fees for an applicant seeking a registration under
   25  paragraph (b) and renewal of such registration every 2 years are
   26  the same as the fees established by the board for applications,
   27  registration and renewal, and record making and recordkeeping,
   28  as set forth in s. 489.109. The department shall provide
   29  license, renewal, and cancellation notices pursuant to ss.
   30  455.273 and 455.275.
