    1                        A bill to be entitled                      
    2         An act relating to fees; amending s. 560.503, F.S.;
    3         requiring an applicant to submit a nonrefundable fee
    4         to apply to be registered as a virtual currency kiosk
    5         business; providing a contingent effective date.

    7  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
    8  
    9         Section 1. Paragraph (d) is added to subsection (1) of
   10  section 560.503, Florida Statutes, as created by SB 662, 2024
   11  Regular Session, to read:
   12         560.503 Registration applications.—
   13         (1) To apply to be registered as a virtual currency kiosk
   14  business under this part, the applicant must submit all of the
   15  following to the office:
   16         (d) A nonrefundable fee in accordance with s.
   17  560.143(1)(b).
   18         Section 2. This act shall take effect on the same date that
   19  SB 662 or similar legislation takes effect, if such legislation
   20  is adopted in the same legislative session or an extension
   21  thereof and becomes a law.
