       Senator Gruters moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment
    2  
    3         Delete lines 414 - 423
    4  and insert:
    5         (4) A notice of claim for loss assessment coverage under s.
    6  627.714 must be provided to the insurer within 1 year after the
    7  date on which the condominium association or its governing board
    8  votes to levy an assessment resulting from a covered loss.
    9  However, notice provided under this paragraph is not timely if
   10  such vote occurs more than 3 years after the covered loss event
   11  that created the need for the assessment.
