    1                        A bill to be entitled                      
    2         An act relating to cybersecurity risks from unmanned
    3         aircraft systems; amending s. 282.319, F.S.; requiring
    4         the Florida Cybersecurity Advisory Council to meet
    5         quarterly to assess specified risks and provide
    6         certain recommendations; providing an effective date.

    8  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
    9  
   10         Section 1. Paragraph (i) is added to subsection (9) of
   11  section 282.319, Florida Statutes, to read:
   12         282.319 Florida Cybersecurity Advisory Council.—
   13         (9) The council shall meet at least quarterly to:
   14         (i) Assess cybersecurity risks associated with unmanned
   15  aircraft systems used by state agencies and provide
   16  recommendations for mitigating potential threats.
   17         Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2025.
