       The Committee on Rules (Collins) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 14 - 16
    4  and insert:
    5         Section 2. Subsection (1) and paragraph (a) of subsection
    6  (2) of section 1003.4205, Florida Statutes, are amended to read:
    7         1003.4205 Disability history and awareness instruction.—
    8         (1) Each district school board may provide, and each
    9  private school receiving state scholarship funds under s.
   10  1002.394 or s. 1002.395 may provide, disability history and
   11  awareness instruction in all K-12 public schools and
   12  participating private schools in the district during the first 2
   13  weeks in October each year. The participating district school
   14  boards and private schools board shall designate these 2 weeks
   15  as “Disability History and Awareness Weeks.”

   20  and insert:
   21         1003.4205, F.S.; authorizing certain private schools
   22         to participate in Disability History and Awareness
