       The Committee on Rules (Martin) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to Amendment (799824) (with title
    2  amendment)

    4         Delete lines 548 - 557
    5  and insert:
    6         2. An administrator may qualify for the protection in s.
    7  766.303(2) in the same manner as a participating physician
    8  provided that the administrator electing to participate in the
    9  plan contributes an annual assessment equivalent to the amount
   10  provided in s. 766.314(4)(c)1.
   11         3. Payment of the annual assessment required by this
   12  paragraph is due on or before December 31 of each year for
   13  qualification as a participating physician or administrator
   14  during the next calendar year. If payment of the assessment is
   15  received by the association on or before January 31 of any
   16  calendar year, the physician or administrator shall qualify as a
   17  participating physician or administrator for that entire
   18  calendar year. If the payment is received after January 31, the
   19  physician or administrator shall qualify as a participating
   20  physician or administrator for that calendar year only from the
   21  date the payment was received by the association.
