       The Committee on Judiciary (Trumbull) recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Delete lines 47 - 48
    4  and insert:
    5  or design defect or failed to operate in a manner consistent
    6  with the manufacturer’s express warranty or representations.
    7         (4) This section applies to causes of action accruing on or
    8  after July 1, 2026.
