       The Appropriations Committee on Higher Education (Polsky)
       recommended the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment 
    2  
    3         Delete lines 22 - 28
    4  and insert:
    5  institution shall adopt and implement written safety policies
    6  and procedures applicable to campus facilities, classrooms, and
    7  other institutional settings to prevent, report, and respond to:
    8         (a) An act of violence or attempted violence against a
    9  person.
   10         (b) A credible threat as defined in s. 784.048(1)(c).
