       The Committee on Criminal Justice (Martin) recommended the
       following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
    2  
    3         Between lines 38 and 39
    4  insert:
    5         Section 3. Paragraph (a) of subsection (5) of section
    6  907.041, Florida Statutes, is amended to read:
    7         907.041 Pretrial detention and release.—
    8         (5) PRETRIAL DETENTION.—
    9         (a) As used in this subsection, “dangerous crime” means any
   10  of the following:
   11         1. Arson;
   12         2. Aggravated assault;
   13         3. Aggravated battery;
   14         4. Illegal use of explosives;
   15         5. Child abuse or aggravated child abuse;
   16         6. Abuse of an elderly person or disabled adult, or
   17  aggravated abuse of an elderly person or disabled adult;
   18         7. Aircraft piracy;
   19         8. Kidnapping;
   20         9. Homicide;
   21         10. Manslaughter, including DUI manslaughter and BUI
   22  manslaughter;
   23         11. Sexual battery;
   24         12. Robbery;
   25         13. Carjacking;
   26         14. Lewd, lascivious, or indecent assault or act upon or in
   27  presence of a child under the age of 16 years;
   28         15. Sexual activity with a child, who is 12 years of age or
   29  older but less than 18 years of age, by or at solicitation of
   30  person in familial or custodial authority;
   31         16. Burglary of a dwelling;
   32         17. Stalking and aggravated stalking;
   33         18. Act of domestic violence as defined in s. 741.28;
   34         19. Home invasion robbery;
   35         20. Act of terrorism as defined in s. 775.30;
   36         21. Manufacturing any substances in violation of chapter
   37  893;
   38         22. Attempting or conspiring to commit any such crime;
   39         23. Human trafficking;
   40         23.24. Trafficking in any controlled substance described in
   41  s. 893.135(1)(c)4.;
   42         24.25. Extortion in violation of s. 836.05; and
   43         25.26. Written threats to kill in violation of s. 836.10;
   44         26. Any violation related to computer pornography or child
   45  exploitation as described in s. 847.0135; and
   46         27. Attempting or conspiring to commit any such crime.
