GENERAL BILL by Insurance ; Wiles ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Cosgrove
Insurance Fraud; applies certain provisions to HMOs; establishes Anti-Fraud Reward Program in Insurance Dept.; provides for rewards under certain circumstances; requires certain HMOs to comply with insurer anti-fraud requirements; extends statute of limitations for certain insurance fraud violations; specifies schedule of criminal penalties for committing insurance fraud; revises penalty for patient brokering, etc. Amends FS. APPROPRIATION: $250,000.
