GENERAL BILL by Fasano ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Crist

Public Officers & Employees/Code of Ethics [GPSC]; Redefines the terms "business entity," "candidate," and "gift" as they relate to the code of ethics for public officers and employees. Provides standards of conduct for such officers and employees of state agencies with regard to improper influence in the performance of official duties. Prohibits a public official from appointing, employing, or promoting a relative for a position in an agency in which the official is a member of the collegial body, etc.
