GENERAL BILL by Environmental Preservation and Conservation; Community Affairs; Bennett
Growth Management; Redesignates the "Local Government Comprehensive Planning and Land Development Regulation Act" as the "Community Planning Act." Revises and provides duties of local governments and municipalities relating to comprehensive plans. Revises provisions relating to the Century Commission for a Sustainable Florida. Revises the findings and intent to include the necessity for a specific strategic plan addressing the state's growth management system, etc.
