GENERAL BILL by Rulemaking Oversight and Repeal Subcommittee ; Business and Professional Regulation Subcommittee ; Porter

Real Estate Brokers & Appraisers; Provides qualifying condition for issuance of additional licenses to licensed broker; provides grounds for Florida Real Estate Commission to deny multiple license requests; provides for applicability & effect of certain final orders of discipline on primary & multiple licenses held by broker; revises definition of term "supervisory appraiser"; revises dated version of certain requirements adopted by Appraiser Qualifications Board of Appraisal Foundation based upon which Florida Real Estate Appraisal Board is authorized to waive or modify certain education, experience, or examination requirements applicable to certified appraisers & registered trainee appraisers; revises certain exceptions from provisions specifying that certain applicants for certification or registration as appraiser or trainee appraiser are not deemed to be qualified for certification or registration; deletes authority for licensed appraiser to act as direct supervisor of registered trainee real estate appraiser.
