Economic Development; Requiring the Department of Economic Opportunity to contract with a specified direct-support organization to guide, stimulate, and promote the sports industry, the participation of residents in amateur athletic competitions, and this state as a host for national and international athletic competitions; requiring the Office of Economic and Demographic Research to calculate the net state gross domestic product per state dollar of certain programs; creating the Quick Action Closing Fund Escrow Account within the State Economic Enhancement and Development Trust Fund; creating the Start-Up Florida Grant Program, etc.
