Budget Subcommittee on Finance and Tax
The Subcommittee on Finance and Tax generally considers and evaluates proposals affecting state and local government revenue sources. When appropriate, the subcommittee also examines proposals dealing with other state and local government financial matters, e.g., revenue estimating, the issuance of bonds and investment activities. Committee staff represent the Senate in the revenue estimating process set forth in Sections 216.133 – 137, Florida Statutes.
