Committee on Commerce and Tourism
The Committee on Commerce and Tourism has jurisdiction over a broad range of topics. These include: economic development; workforce; consumer protection; business organizations; and regulation of non-agricultural consumer services (e.g., secondary metal recyclers, charitable organizations, and sellers of travel). The committee also shares jurisdiction over a number of subjects with other committees, including some tax issues, the space industry, and entertainment industries.
