CS/SB 170: Children's Protection Act of 1999

GENERAL BILL by Criminal Justice ; Bronson

Children's Protection Act of 1999; creates said act; creates offenses of "lewd or lascivious battery," "lewd or lascivious molestation," "lewd or lascivious conduct," & "lewd or lascivious exhibition"; precludes consent from being raised as defense if victim is under specified age; precludes ignorance or belief of age from being raised as defense; provides exception for maternal breastfeeding; ranks offenses created in act in Criminal Punishment Code, etc. Amends & reenacts FS.
