SB 2678: Mental Health [SPSC]
GENERAL BILL by Storms
Mental Health [SPSC]; Revises provisions relating to the Florida Mental Health Act, to substitute the term "individual" for the terms "person," "patient," or "client." Deletes certain background screening requirements and exemptions for certain mental health professionals. Specifies that only governmental facilities may serve as receiving and treatment facilities. Authorizes a public facility to request the transfer of an individual to a private facility, etc.
