SB 1082: Medical Devices

GENERAL BILL by Altman

Medical Devices; Requires certain entities to notify local emergency services medical directors of the locations of automated external defibrillators. Directs the State Surgeon General, with the assistance of the Department of Management Services, to adopt rules to establish guidelines for the appropriate placement and deployment of automated external defibrillators in places of public assembly. Requires the placement of an automated external defibrillator in each public school in this state, etc.
