GENERAL BILL by Health and Human Services Access Subcommittee ; Reed ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Pafford ; Rehwinkel Vasilinda

Homelessness; Establishes homelessness prevention grant program; requires grant applicants to be ranked competitively & provides preference for certain applicants; provides eligibility requirements & grant limitations & restrictions; requires lead agencies for local homeless assistance continuums of care to track, monitor, & report on assisted families for specified period of time; provides opportunities for voluntary contributions to aid the homeless & provides that such contributions are not income of revenue nature for purpose of applying certain service charges, etc.
