SB 2100: Retirement

GENERAL BILL by Budget

Retirement; Requires that a local governmental entity or the governing body of a charter school or charter technical career center make certain elections regarding benefits at the time the entity or governing body joins the Florida Retirement System. Requires employer and employee contributions to the retirement system. Modifies the early retirement benefit calculation for those members retiring on or after a certain date or before the normal retirement date to reflect the change in normal retirement age, etc. APPROPRIATION: $238,254
