GENERAL BILL by Health and Human Services Committee ; Health Care Appropriations Subcommittee ; Healthy Families Subcommittee ; Perry ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Campbell ; Combee ; Diaz, J. ; Dudley ; Hutson ; Metz ; Moskowitz ; Peters ; Rooney ; Saunders ; Spano ; Stewart

Independent Living; Revises provisions for jurisdiction of a child found to be dependent; provides that court retains jurisdiction until child reaches a certain age; provides for transition plan after child reaches specified age; provides requirements for extended foster care; provides duties of department, community-based care lead agency, & case manager; provides for court jurisdiction, reviews, & review hearings; provides for appointment of a guardian ad litem; requires information sharing; provides for adoption; specifies foster parent room & board rates; authorizes community-based care service providers to pay for certain services; provides for Road-to-Independence Program for young adults; & creates Independent Living Services Advisory Council.
