Actions for Rent or Possession; Requires court to conduct trial within specified timeframe for certain actions involving possession of dwelling unit; authorizes court to order tenant to pay certain rent into the registry of the court during pendency of proceeding under certain circumstances; requires court to schedule case for immediate trial if payment is not made; deletes requirement that tenant who wishes to defend against certain actions by landlord comply with specified provision; deletes requirement that court enter default judgment in certain circumstances.
