This bill provides $550,000 in compensation to Melvin and Alma Colindres, as personal representatives of the Estate of Kevin Colindres, for the wrongful death of their 18-year-old son resulting from the negligence of City of Miami police officers.
If approved by the Governor, or allowed to become law without the Governor's signature, these provisions take effect upon becoming law.
