As a not-for-profit, the 100 Black Men of South Florida, Inc. will continue to provide educational, mentoring and health and wellness initiatives to support the youth that we serve. As we continue to provide an environment that is nurturing and conducive to becoming contributing members of society, we gauge the progress of our youth and encourage them to aspire to be productive citizens.

Project Description:
The 100 Black Men of South Florida, Inc schedules at least two group sessions with the participants of our Leadership Academy. During these group sessions, we provide the youth with practical skills development and training, academically challenging experiences and hands-on exposure to enrich their lives. These academic experiences include tutoring on homework, leadership assignments, supplemental educational lessons and field trips, computer training, etiquette lessons and survival skills.

Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
As for the Scholastic Maintenance that our organization has had and continues to expand our program, which encourages continued scholastic excellence. This program annually works with sixty (60) Young Leaders. We measure the success of our program by the following categories: Behavioral Maturity, Academic Excellence - Standardized Testing (FCAT, ACT and SAT) and Grade Point Average and Community Service.
