Project Description:
This project is a capital outlay request for the re-development of a 4.9 acre neighborhood park. Plans are to construct a small skate park, a multi-purpose soccer field, playground and picnic area, and tennis and basketball courts to complement the new community building recently constructed. Public restrooms will be constructed along with a covered stage.

Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
Increased recreational facilites including multi-purposed fields, picnic facilites and stage will be provided, in accordance with the goals of the Statewide Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan (SCORP). The construction of the skate park will give youth a safe place to skate other than sidewalks, parking lots and city streets. It serves as an area-wide as well as local family facility.
