| Project Description: |
| The City of Hallandale Beach in conjunction with a not-for-profit volunteer organization, the Friends of the Hepburn Center, coordinates and administers and After School Tutorial Program which provides education, homework assistance, computer training and counseling to 250 low to moderate income area chhildren in grades K through eight. The program also provides activities to children and their familites, which includes self-esteem building, crime safety and health prevention, youth entrepreneurial projects and mentorship programs. |
