Project Description:
Sewer system rehabilitation in priority area of the City as based on the City's Sewer Master Plan 2000. Area 1 is bordered by Dutton Island Road West, Levy Road, west of Main Street and Mayport Road. Areas were identified in the Sewer Master Plan as having the highest amount of inflow/infiltration into the sewer system, which has resulted in past sanitary sewer overflows during heavy rainfall periods. The rehabilitation methods may include a combination of point repairs, cured in place piping, pipe replacements, and manhole repair or replacement. Expansion of the lift station SCADA system will include lift stations on Stewart Street, Seminole Road, Camelia Street, Monmouth Court, Aspen Ridge, Montreal, West End and Featherwood. The SCADA system will include alarms and automatic dial-out to help prevent sanitary sewer overflows caused by lift station problems.
